Heavy clouds closed in the city today and by noon it had started to rain. I love the rain, designer rubber boots, rain slickers, umbrellas. When the sun comes out again, it will be cleaner, greener. Signs of spring will cheer us up. I'll retire my winter clothes and boots. But not today.
The snow began falling late this afternoon and thanks to those snowflakes on steroids we have accummulated over 10 cm. Enough for another day of cross country skiing. Enough to make driving treacherous.
It's a good thing we are on Daylight Saving Time right now. Despite the wet snow, it doesn't feel so bad.
Still, Phoenix would feel better.

I haven't visited a blog in a while, and I'm glad I got to see yours! UTBM is still a mother and isn't it wonderful how she remembers the birth of her perfect little one! I put my children through the details every year also, and my husband gets the added bonus of hearing our wedding day recited again, and again. Let us have these memories I say - sometimes they feel better than what is going on present day! Happy B'day, Amazon Queen!
