I've spent the last few days job searching. I'm told it might take up to a year to find exactly what suits you best.
It's like putting on your lipstick , hiking up your skirt to stand on the corner and hope somebody likes what you are selling. I've never done that but I can't imagine this job search is any different. It's taking a whole lifetime of experiences, talents and skills then sorting them like you would buttons in your grandmother's battered cookie tin. It's exhausting.
I am going to have a wonderful job that stimulates my mind, that taps into my energy and where I can help solve that organization's problems, make them money or grow their industry. Stay tuned. Before I'm 60, I plan on working FT.

I suspect you have a good network of people who can help. It won't take a year. I'll light a sparkler for you.
