My first attempt at quilting coincided with a dear friend's grandson's arrival. I wanted a non traditional colour pattern which The Very Readable Journalist helped select. I had no idea the labour involved in making a pieced quilt. Nor the satisfaction that comes in creating something. This is my Impression Sunrise. Merci Monet.
