As someone who has spent years editing and teaching English grammar, I pay attention to how things are written. While reading the Globe and Mail the other day, I came across something that made me laugh outright it was so stupid. Are you ready for it?
Unwilling to quote the description that another journalist from La Presse used to describe the Parti Quebecois' minorities plan, the Globe and Mail journalist said instead that it was "crude eight-letter English term for bovine droppings". Did it take you a minute, like me, to figure out what that meant? It sounded like a clue for a crossword puzzle.
This was the same day that in another section of the newspaper, they talked about Miley Cyrus "twerking" which I find out is a legitimate term for a dance move that Cyrus took to a whole new level of depravity.
It's always an education reading the paper.

my first guess was 'cow pie'. But it was only six letters. I finally realized that to get four letters I'd have to move to the male of the species....
I learned about "twerking" this weekend too. The NY Times had a funny article about how to tell your parents about twerking.
Every generation thinks it invented sex and all things related to it.
Ok. Confession time. I googled "bovine droppings" to get it.
