Eight Weeks of Creative Writing - Done!

In the last eight weeks, we harvested the garden. Canned pears and applesauce. Celebrated Thanksgiving. Endured our first snowfall. Bought a house in Phoenix. It's easy to recognise these changes in the last two months. But the changes in my writing as a result of the creative writing course where we focused on some aspect of the writing process isn't as tangible.
I've received a long list of book title suggestions. I have listened and critiqued some wonderfully written assignments by my classmates. I have little to show for my eight weeks of writing assignments. I have tweaked some former stories and fleshed out some new story ideas. I find it easier to write anecdotes than fiction.
I am going to keep writing and pursuing these ideas that will incubate into something worth reading and sharing.
