January may be the beginning of a new optimistic year but it always has been the dreaded darkest part of the year. On the heels of the holiday merry making, my usual inclination is to grab for the bigger pant size or the sweat pants. Wait a minute - perhaps just stay in those pj's all day because it is so cold and icy and dark out there and the pjs are so comfy in here. And then there is the reminder from the mastercard that I weren't as thrifty and responsible about Christmas giving. All the registrations for classes and cars and insurance are due in January too. It all seems to be going out and not much coming in.
Well this year I am not dreading it. Not even a little though perhaps my pants are a little tighter. No the
resolutionary challenge
which begins on Monday promises to be an opportunity to overcome the blah's and emit some light into the short winter days.
You still have time to register for the resolutionary challenge.
Just under 50 people have signed up so far.

I CAN'T WAIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!
How did the wedding go? We enjoyed Seattle for New Years. I understand Abbie and Mercedes had lunch together. She is looking for work in earnest. I think this will be a great way to keep in touch Janet. Birthday wishes to you too - a little late. How did you spend the day?
Wedding was wonderful. I'm looking forward to this challenge. My birthday's today and it's church, Home Teaching and each of the kids left a presendt before they left. :) the numbers are becoming depressing when asked my age. I'm ready for tomorrow.
