Broken Bones

A nasty tumble off my friend's mountain bike has given me a new bracelet to wear for the next six weeks.

I can't even begin to describe my frustration. I love to work out. My long walks were too much for the arthritic knees and recently created Achilles Tendonitis. I thought a bike ride was perfect solution. I didn't factor in the gravel, klutz factor, other cyclists oblivious of path etiquette nor my severe brake application.

So perhaps this wrist fracture provides some necessary rest and stepping back. Lots of books to read. Slowing down doesn't come naturally.

Gosh, I'm so sorry that happened. It looks like it's your left hand which is good. If you get restless and need to work out, try a stationery bike. They have classes that can kill you. Best to you
