The App that Changed How I Wait

I wait in traffic, in the doctor's office, for the faxes to send, for the laundry to dry. I don't wait well. I read or crochet borders around receiving blankets. Lately I've been eating. This is not a good waiting strategy. I have thickening thighs to prove it. So when my friend CS introduced me to the Iphone App Word Warp, I was hoping to find something that would bring as much pleasure as the food without the accompanying bulk. I should point out here that I have never been a gamer. Never owned let alone played an Atari or Tetris. And although recently I have enjoyed Xbox's Rock Band with the kids when they come home, it would not be my inclination to play on my own. The other day at the flu clinic, I brought my Iphone out to play Word Warp. I can hardly wait to wait now. A perfect game for someone competitive like I am. A perfect mind stimulator. A perfect practise for when I kick my cousin B's trash playing Scrabble next.

So now I am going to need an Iphone?! Should I? I need a new phone/plan in December. Could we compete?

Love that game. I played it so much a few years ago that I would dream about it at night. I had to stop. Perhaps its time to start again!!
