A lady was telling us how she has avoided going on cruises for the last two decades because of her fear of all that food and what it might mean for her weight loss goals. She said "I'd probably get on as a passenger and come home as cargo!" I laughed right out loud. She probably had said that a bazillion times but to me it was new and fresh and so funny. Really in one week how much could you really gain? This year her husband booked her on the cruise. They went. She actually lost weight. All that fresh fruit and beautifully carved vegetables satisfied her. She wished she had not let her fears dictate her life.
I fear that %%%%% LSAT test. I've had it on my to do list for many years. At this point, law school doesn't even really matter. It's that %%%%% test. I have relinquished my power to that test's reputation. Time to get on the boat.
What are you afraid of?

Face that fear...take the test! Ha ha...that's funny because I avoid all my fears...
I just read a book "The Wife's Tale" by Lori Lansen (Maybe?)...the author who wrote The Girls...anyway, that was the whole gist of the book. A woman who lived her whole life hemmed in by her fears and worries.
I am afraid of lots and am better at hiding. I may not come across that way to those who don't know me well, but I think that is kind of how I am. Maybe I am afraid of people figuring that out about me!!! xx00
