Working Trumps Almost Everything

I'm teaching French for the next three weeks. Did I ever mention how much I love teaching? Did I ever mention how much I love speaking, thinking, studying, reading, sharing French? Such beautiful expressions "il ne me l'a pas dit". It's like liquid music dripping off my lips. This opportunity has resurrected old dreams to live un beau bout de temps en France and drink tisanes and eat croque monsieur. I have felt pretty confident with my French and certainly don't shy away ever from speaking it. I took an online class to determine what level of entry I would be to enter into some French language naster programmes. It was very humbling. Though I am understood and speak with ease, my written French barely meets elementary levels. With this new discovery, that dream to live in France now becomes mandatory. I just have to work on B who doesn't share the same dream or goal. Zut!

I wish I could take French from you. I agree that teaching is the BEST. Yes, you do have to work on B.

Well, if Bob can't go, he can just be my nanny and I'll come with you.

Where are you teaching?

Do you want to come visit this older french speaking lady in our ward with me sometime?

Your French is beautiful, but I laughed out loud at "Zut". Thanks - I needed that! ("Zut" ...lol again!)

Somehow I missed that you spoke French. Your idea of living in France for a year sounds heavenly.
