For years as part of the Thanksgiving celebration we would ask the kids for what they were thankful. Tomorrow as we gather with Used to Be Mother and Bob's parents who are not yet on their Used To Be Way, we probably will repeat this tradition before we overeat roasted turkey, dressing, baked yams and pumpkin pie.
For the record here are a few things for which I am thankful:
1) A companion who runs to the drugstore in the middle of the night, who remembers birthdays and anniversaries and special events, who still digs me after all these years and who still makes me laugh.
2) Beautiful, witty, intelligent, spunky children who have and are and will make significant contributions to the world
3) Lindt dark chocolate and that I can eat it every day
4) Spandex, Spanks, and Sport Bras not to mention Botox, Eye Glasses, Antibiotics
5) Word processing, iphones and internet
6) A gentle souled, albeit, thieving Porty
7) A curious restless nature that seeks change and higher ground
8) Faith in Jesus Christ and in His plan of happiness even when it doesn't seem so happy
9) Friends who like to hike, cycle, read, shop, view, preserve and debate and who enliven my mind
10) A sister and brother, uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces who remind me always where I came from, and what I have become
For what are you thankful?

I do not write papers anymore. For a long time now I haven't. You are well on your way to be an excellent writer in both languages. Your grammar sucks.
