I've been without a computer for the last week relying solely on the merits of IPad and IPhone (thank you Steve Jobs may you rest in peace). Like a comfortable pair of jeans, I'd worked out a system that suited my needs and knew where to go and how it worked. I didn't have to waste time figuring it out or recreating some thing because I hadn't saved it. I could troubleshoot and knew which folder held what. I've resisted a laptop mostly because the fit was just right, but my world has enlarged and my suitcase hasn't.

These Apple devices have impressed me with their speed and versatility as well. A fellow sitting next to me and I played Scrabble and last night I watched the rest of Downton Abbey in my bed. Oh! how can I go back to the farm now that I've seen Paris?

MacBook Pro? Toshiba?

What do you like and why?

LP: I liked Downton Abbey for most part once I suspended Mary's Turkish Delight and her mother's reaction given time period. I'll be watching S2.

I watched Downton Abbey in my beddy too. I thought they should have let Bates hang. I pooh pahhed when he was given life instead. Way to much suspension of disbelief required there.
