Sometime between September 29 and October 20th of this year, a dream I have held onto for many years will come true. Bob, our children and I will have the opportunity to visit the Calgary Alberta Temple open house. Our family attended the Cardston Alberta temple after it was renovated in 1991. Nathan, only 3 and very impatient, slipped through the crowd and headed toward the bannister. Before we could stop him, he slid down with the biggest grin.
Having us again in the temple together at this open house will be a dream come true. Not as I had planned but still something I'm really looking forward to again. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for the public in Calgary and environs to visit the interior of a Latter-day Saint temple before it is dedicated. I know of no other place on earth where you will feel such inner peace and reverance for the Almighty. For this reason, Bob and I go regularly. It's a place where you can unload your troubled heart and mind and regain a connection to the true purpose of our life here.

Won't it be wonderful to have the temple here in Calgary! What a blessing. I will miss Cardston, but maybe I'll just keep going there!!
