Another outing

Used to be Mother came out today with her capri pants, a wool sweater, pearls, her winter coat, anklet socks and her walking shoes.

UTBM: These capri pants really match my wool sweater.

Me: Aren't those your summer capris?

UTBM: Yes but they match the colour so nicely.

Me: True, they certainly do, but aren't your legs cold?

UTBM: A little cold isn't going to hurt me.

Tired of that conversation, she asks

Did you notice I'm wearing lipstick today?

Me: Sure did. That's a nice bright red.

UTBM: I can't see very well to put it on. Have I got in on straight?

Me: If your lips were your whole face, sure.

UTBM: Well help me get it right.

So I take my finger and smooth it here and there.

Me: There, good to go.

UTBM: Let's put some music on and turn it up will you. I can't hear it.
