We often speak about the temple in reverential terms. A place of revelation. A place of peace and serenity. But it has also become a place to see old friends, acquaintainces, neighbours. From the moment I walked in the door today, I saw someone whose life had somehow woven itself with mine. I might be struck with lightening for saying this but my experience today reminded me of the lyrics of Cheers, the 1980s sitcom.
