Day Seven Paris

Les Galleries Lafayette's flagship store can be shopping heaven or hell depending on your perspective.  I'd be more inclined to the former when I saw an entire level full of shoes. Brand names I've only seen in magazines were all sold there. Each a little boutique within the bigger store.  Customer service is unparalleled.

Take for example the Chloe bag JB decided to purchase for a special event later this summer. The clerk carefully wrapped the bag, put it into the beautiful cream Chloe bag, added the authentic documentation, fixed a beautiful cream corrugated ribbon and then sprayed it with Chloe Rose perfume. To which I exclaimed "C'est vraiment merveilleux". Sure changes the experience of buying Joe at Superstore and tossing it myself into a plastic bag.

Just look at that Chloe bag. Ah!
