Flying Solo

A continual banging on the walk out basement window today woke me. When I went down to investigate I discovered a very stunned robin who had flown into my window. Seeing the reflection of the park, he was justifiably confused. Once. Maybe twice. But after an hour, and a huge mess on my window, I wondered why he couldn't get it right?

We are a little like those birds aren't we? We confuse things because they look like the real thing. We make the same mistake over and over despite it hurting us. It takes a long time to learn to fly in a different way.
