Two days ago CS and I walked without our coats on our weekly 10 mile hike. Our good fortune at eeking out one more long walk made it especially enjoyable. Even this morning, we went without coats or mitts or boots and enjoyed the fresh air. Felt the sunshine infusing us with Vitamin D. All that is gone now. It's snowing madly, heavily, and it doesn't look promising to change any time soon. She leaves for Bermuda tomorrow. I dig out my mittens and coat and boots and toque. And look longingly at airline rates to Phoenix.

Hi Bonnie - love your blog and your writing style. Glad to know you, girlfriend! Think of you and B all the time, and you are in our prayers everyday. Saw B at church on Fast Sunday, and he looked happy and was visiting away int he hallway! I got to give his hand a quick shake. Wish I had seen you too! Much love - Kathy McK
ahh...Phoenix....ahhh....anywhere warmer than here!
However, the thought/threat of snow has mentally been hanging over my head for weeks. Now that it's finally here, and it's really winter, and I made it through the first day, I know that I can survive the season!
We're getting our blizzard this afternoon. The refrigerator is full. The furnace works. I don't have to go anywhere. Let it snow.
