CS and I took a road trip to SLC 30+ years ago. I don't remember much about that trip except that we hitchhiked home. Those were the days. This past Friday we took another road trip to SLC. Cooked our kids and nieces dinner. I went to the BYU vs University of Wyoming men's basketball game. BYU won the Mountain West Division. You would have thought it was the Second Coming the way the crowd acted. Definitely way over whatever we see and do at a basketball game in Canada. CS and I will do this again. Hopefully sooner than twenty years. And we will fly home.

I was in Provo over the weekend. Dane and Bridget blessed their baby. I was on campus Saturday and saw all the crowd going to the game. I had a ticket to the game but no one wanted to go with me. Wish I had known you were in town. We could have met at the bookstore. What a shame. would have loved to see you. Lets keep in touch better.

I would have LOVED to go to a BYU game this year. I was always so surprised whenever I would go to one of my kid's high school sporting events--so very few parents and little excitement (except coming from wherever I was sitting ; )
